In 1928, at the age of 55, one William Muskett Delf, senior glycerine manufacturer for Lever Brothers, was inspired to form his own soap making and glycerine business. With early support from Lord Leverhulme himself, WM Delf, as it was then known, grew to become one of the main soap manufacturers in Liverpool.
Delf’s portfolio has since evolved, partly through acquisition and partly through procurement of additional expertise, to offer a range of speciality chemicals and healthcare products, and includes a wholesale janitorial supply division.

Today Delf (UK) combines traditional values of service with twenty first century vision. Our main goal is to focus on the manufacture of environmentally friendly products and to innovate in order to meet the challenges of the ever changing chemical world.
